2026 AMATEUR BEACH BASH RESULTS

 

PERFECTION UNDER PRESSURE! The $20,000 1.15M AMATEUR BEACH BASH FINALE crowned its champion in spectacular fashion! For eight consecutive weeks during the Venice Equestrian Tour, amateur riders poured their hearts into qualifier classics along side of the juniors earning points for their shot at Beach Bash glory. Saturday night, 13 determined amateurs faced Eric Mayberry’s challenging track that tested every element of their partnership. What unfolded was FABULOUS—pure competition, pure determination, pure JOY as these talented athletes battled for the top spot!

Katie Drummond of Oldsmar, FL delivered the ONLY clear round of the night amongst the amateurs aboard her North American Studbook mare KALAHARI NA (by Diamant De Revel out of Zahara), trained by Allison Postier of Odessa, FL! When the pressure was at its peak, Drummond rose to the moment with FLAWLESS riding! BEACH BASH CHAMPION!

Kaitlyn Nussel of Williston, FL piloted the Warmblood gelding ESH SHAQIRI (by Stakkato Gold out of Contina) to second place, trained by Ronny Riemer of Ocala, FL! Outstanding performance in the spotlight!

Abbey Slaven of Ocala, FL guided her Dutch Warmblood gelding FUNDAMENT E (by Baltic VDL out of Unament) to third place! What a way to cap off the Beach Bash series!

THE BEACH BASH DELIVERED!

Eight weeks of qualification, countless hours of preparation, and 14 incredible junior riders—the $20,000 1.15M JUNIOR BEACH BASH FINALE was EVERYTHING we hoped for and MORE! For eight consecutive weeks during the Venice Equestrian Tour, Junior riders battled along side of the Amateurs in qualifier classics to earn their spot in this prestigious finale. Eric Mayberry designed a challenging track that tested every ounce of skill, courage, and partnership these amazing duos possessed. What unfolded was nothing shy of FABULOUS—pure competition, pure heart, pure JOY!

Isabell Pezold of Fulton, MO and the Selle Français mare C’LA VIE D’ARGENT (by Diamant De Semilly) claimed BEACH BASH GLORY with a breathtaking jump-off time of 42.870 seconds for Emellar Stables LLC of Hartsburg, MO, trained by Marissa Rose! THIS IS WHAT DREAMS ARE MADE OF!

Vera Britt of Raleigh, NC went first in the jump-off and laid down a BLAZING 43.532 aboard her Holsteiner gelding CATCH ME 53 (by Clarimo out of Zita X), trained by Dale Wright of Wake Forest, NC! She set the bar SKY HIGH and nearly held on for the win!

Ava Jacobs of Norristown, PA piloted the Irish Sport Horse gelding KINGDOM (by Lux Z) to third place for owner Christina Kelly of Venice, FL, trained by Christina Kelly of Venice, FL & Jennifer Brennan of Norristown, PA! What a phenomenal ride!
